About me
At Community Elevation, mental health is a fundamental aspect of overall well-being and should be accessible to everyone. We provide an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates the diversity of our clients and our community. Our practice recognizes that everyone brings unique experiences, perspectives, and cultural identities to the therapeutic process. We provide culturally sensitive care that honors these differences and addresses each client's needs. Our mental health professionals prioritize ongoing learning in cultural competence and anti-bias practices to ensure our services are effective for everyone. We welcome clients of all cultures, races, ethnicities, genders, identities, abilities, and life experiences. We understand the importance of tailoring our approach to honor each person’s journey. We aim to create a safe and supportive space where everyone can feel seen, heard, and validated.
I believe that the relationship between the therapist and the client determines the quality of a therapy session. As a therapist, I strive to be non-judgmental, open-minded, and authentic with my clients, recognizing that each person has unique values, beliefs, cultures, and experiences. I value listening to my clients to understand their preferred communication styles, topics, and approaches to therapy. Everyone has a story to tell, and I aim to help them create change one step at a time.
Admitting you need help is the first step towards wellness. I provide culturally sensitive mental health services for individuals, organizations, and communities. As an experienced therapist, I help clients explore core issues and achieve a fulfilling life. I've worked with clients who experienced trauma, depression, and anxiety in settings such as athletics, schools, private practice, and mental health systems. The most crucial aspect of therapy is the connection between the therapist and the client. Therefore, I always strive to maintain a fair, understanding, and authentic approach in all my therapeutic interactions. I acknowledge that everyone has unique viewpoints, beliefs, customs, and backgrounds.
