About me

Patrycja eared her graduate degree from University of Southern California with specialization in Mental Health and Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. She has also earned graduate degree in Social Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles with specialization in Class, Race and Gender Studies and undergraduate degree in Political Science and Sociology.
Her clinical practice focused on domestic violence, sexual trauma work with women and children at East Los Angeles Women’s Center and adult forensic population, specifically mentally disordered offenders, individuals found incompetent to stand trial, and not guilty by reasons of insanity, and conserved individuals at Metropolitan State Hospital who have been diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and severe addictions.

Patrycja's clinical experience includes treatment of culturally and socio-economically diverse youth and adult populations with range of diagnosis in all levels of mental health treatment settings and including state psychiatric hospitals, medical community hospitals, acute inpatient facilities, residential treatment programs, intensive outpatient programs and private practice. Her treatment experience includes individuals, couples, family, and groups utilizing Brief Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Structural Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Somatic Experiencing.

Patrycja has led program developments in community agencies and has been advisor and leadership consultant to corporate and community agencies to improved team dynamics and sales practices. She has facilitated seminars at USC for graduate classes relating to clinical work, private practice process, leadership, program development, and serves as a mentor to graduate students and is providing volunteer clinical services to Homeboy Industries.
