*Accepting New Clients In-Person or Telehealth* Helping Individuals, Couples and Families to Achieve Wellness in their Lives & Heal from painful life experiences. Serving Arizona, Specializing in Addictions,
Process Addictions & Mental Health Issues. Today can be the beginning of Change, “Let’s Get Started”.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor (LIAC) in Arizona, specializing in addictions, behavioral addictions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and attachment issues. I have been working in the addictions and mental health field since 1997 and have been licensed in Arizona since 2014, serving in various roles that give me a deep, practical understanding of the recovery process. I work primarily with adults, including professionals and first responders, who are ready to understand and change long-standing patterns that no longer serve them.
I view addiction as a coping mechanism—often a way to soothe or escape deeper pain such as trauma, anxiety, depression, shame, or relational wounds. I also treat sex addiction, including compulsive pornography use, using neuroscience-informed, evidence-based approaches and drawing from Dr. Patrick Carnes’ Gentle Path model and betrayal trauma framework. This work often includes gently uncovering and processing childhood sexual trauma, attachment wounds, and long-term relational impacts.
I use multiple therapeutic modalities, tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals. This may include cognitive-behavioral strategies, trauma-informed and attachment-focused work, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and relapse-prevention skills. I hold a basic certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and provide specialized trauma interventions such as ART and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I am also trained as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP and CCTP-II), allowing me to address both single-incident and complex, developmental trauma at foundational and advanced levels. My approach is direct yet compassionate: I will be honest with you, challenge you when it’s helpful, and consistently support you at your own pace.
Sessions with me are collaborative and nonjudgmental. If you feel stuck in cycles of addiction, self-sabotage, or emotional overwhelm, you don’t have to face it alone. Change is possible, and it often begins with one honest conversation. I offer in-person and Telehealth services for clients across Arizona and am currently accepting new clients.
