About me
I am an experienced adolescent and young adult mental health counselor who is dedicated to helping families understand and cope with anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
I’m an attentive, compassionate mental health counselor who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating life’s challenges. I especially enjoy supporting young people and partnering with parents and caregivers to explore practical strategies that foster emotional growth, resilience, and connection. I also work with couples to improve communication, reduce stress and anxiety, and better understand moments of disappointment or hurt.
In my work with couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps partners explore attachment patterns and build deeper emotional bonds. With children and teens, I draw from a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support emotional awareness, coping skills, and self-expression. I also incorporate art and creative approaches to help young people feel safe, engaged, and able to explore what they notice, feel, and want more of in their lives.
I recognize that “family” looks different for everyone. Whether it’s biological, chosen, blended, or evolving, relationships can be complex — and it’s not always easy to understand one another. But I believe that when individuals grow stronger and more self-aware, they’re better equipped to connect meaningfully with others who share their values and emotional goals. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation — and even small steps forward can ripple outward, strengthening the whole family system.
If you’re looking for a therapist who brings warmth, honesty, and collaboration to the process, I’d be honored to support you. I offer evening appointments for couples and Saturday morning sessions for children and young people to help make therapy more accessible for busy families.
