About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults, young adults, and college students facing a range of life challenges. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and attention-related difficulties, as well as those navigating complex family relationships or conflict at work or school.
I also have a strong interest in working with parents of young children, particularly those raising children with special needs. I understand the unique pressures that come with parenting and aim to provide a supportive space to process challenges, problem-solve, and build effective coping strategies.
I bring a strong multicultural perspective to my work. As a Latina who has lived in the United States for over 30 years, I understand both the challenges and strengths that come with navigating different cultures and identities. I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy working with both English- and Spanish-speaking clients.
I began my studies in Psychology in Venezuela and later earned my Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology from Lesley University. My educational and cultural background allows me to create a supportive, inclusive, and culturally responsive space where clients feel understood and respected.
