About me
I'm a couple and family therapist practicing in Colorado only. Part of being human means facing challenges--through life's transitions, in our family relationships, and in our partnered relationships. Therapy can be a place to safely heal negative patterns and work through difficulties. Entering into therapy can lead us into vulnerable places. I provide an open, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space for my courageous clients to share their whole stories—the good, the bad, the ugly. I welcome all who desire to open up in order to heal.
I am a pre-licensed relationship therapist who loves working in the connections between people. Often people in relationships become bogged down in a negative patterns that they cannot see. They understand that it is causing distress, but aren't sure how to change it. I have experience finding the pattern so that all people involved can work toward changing it--healing it. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. I believe that all individuals are also part of many different groups or "systems." These relationships can support us or sometimes create challenges for us. When I work with individuals, I help support them to be the best individuals within their various relationships. If you and your partner(s) or family come to sessions, I will support everyone to change and find a healthier way to relate.
I believe sometimes we learn the most from the challenging and difficult moments and phases in our lives. I am committed to offering a non-judgmental, open space for my clients to explore their highest highs, their lowest lows and everything in between.
I embrace all relationship types including intimate partners (including polyamory and ethical nonmonogamy), best friends, parents, siblings, co-workers, extended families, and all others. I believe that we can find spiritual transformation and even life's meaning inside the connections we form and maintain with those we love.
Humans go through many life transitions that bring challenges of their own. Families with adolescents often find this transition the most difficult to move through. With support, families can learn to lean on one another and find new ways of relating through this tumultuous transition. If you find your family needing some help, feel free to get in touch.
