About me

I am a trauma-informed Christian therapist who works from a compassionate and non-judgmental Internal Family Systems perspective to help clients explore and heal the roots of their struggles, so that they can live freely, from an undivided heart.

Healing is a journey, and we all can benefit from a guide on that journey to help us find the right path and provide compassionate support along the way. My passion is to help clients explore the memories and emotions that often lie under the surface of their current challenges, focusing on deeper healing and building relationship with self rather than temporary symptom relief. I am an EMDR certified therapist and specialize in working with PTSD and complex PTSD, as well as relational trauma, religious trauma, attachment issues, and emotional neglect. I often integrate EMDR with Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help clients understand their protective parts and heal wounded child parts that deserve nurture and care. I believe therapy is most effective when holistic, considering mind, emotions, body, and spirit. I am a certified integrative mental health provider (CIMHP) and love helping clients discover lifestyle changes that can improve mental health and overall well-being. As an undergraduate theology major, I am also comfortable addressing theological and existential struggles, guiding clients in exploring their relationship with God, the church, or their own spirituality. To aid in healing the nervous system, I offer Stephen Porges' Safe and Sound Protocol as a certified coach for this powerful frequency-based music therapy.

As a woman with ADHD myself, I love working with clients who struggle with the challenges of being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world. I am a certified ADHD clinical services provider and provide assessment and coaching for those who would like to learn how to live well with executive function deficits, while growing in self-compassion and understanding of their different brain wiring.

We are all designed for love and belonging, but relationships are challenging and often require some objective intervention and support. As a Gottman level 2 therapist and certified Prepare Enrich facilitator, I am able to use assessments to identify strength and challenge areas in relationships and create a targeted plan to improve communication and intimacy or help couples recover from affairs, betrayal, trauma, and other painful experiences. IFS is also a powerful healing modality for couples to grow in compassion for one another's parts as they learn to heal their own wounded exiles. As a certified Synergetic Play Therapist, I also work with children and provide parental support or parenting coaching, focusing on a nervous system regulation approach that involves helping the child attach to self as parents learn to support their children as an external regulator.

If you would like to chat face-to-face (via a video call) to see if I would be the right guide for you on your journey, feel free to reach out and request a free consultation!
