About me
I am a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Menasha, WI, who has worked with all populations ages 4+ and provide care for patients who struggle with anxiety, depression, family dynamics, relational dynamics, emotional regulation, adjusting to life changes, suicidal ideation, and self harm. I have been in the mental health field for the past 6 years and practicing as a clinical therapist for the past 3 years. I am currently only offering telehealth services and looking forward to provide care for people ages 13 and up.
I offer a calming presence, safe space, coping skills, and acceptance. I often use an eclectic approach, blending different techniques and approaches to fit your needs, as every individual is different. I may utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, expressive arts, mindfulness, Solution focused, Narrative, DBT techniques, Holistic, Play, and most importantly, Person-Centered Therapy. We will work together to figure out the most effective ways to reach your goals. I understand that every individual has their own unique experience and perspective. I am willing to explore them every step of the way with you, to meet your goals at your own pace. I will work to encourage, support, and validate the process and potential for change alongside you.
I am an avid artist, who enjoys painting, drawing, crocheting, baking, cooking, and listening to music. I am inspired by the beauty in day-to-day life, resilience in the community, and want that same inspiration to translate to my clients' treatment. My main goals for my clients include an improvement in self-compassion, coping skills, confidence or self-esteem, emotional identity and regulation, daily functioning, and a lower intensity, duration, and frequency of symptoms. I believe that in my practice, the people who are willing to face the reality and hardships of their lives, want to grow, and act on it, are the most courageous.
