About me

A Space to Slow Down:

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be experiencing anxiety, emotional exhaustion, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or the effects of experiences that have been difficult to process. You may feel disconnected from yourself or caught in patterns that you understand intellectually but find difficult to change.

Therapy can offer a space to slow things down and become curious about what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we can begin to understand your experiences with greater compassion and create space for something to shift.

Working With the Whole Person:

My approach is trauma-informed, somatic, and relational. I believe that our experiences live not only in our thoughts and memories, but also in our bodies, emotions, relationships, and nervous systems.

Alongside talking, we may pay attention to sensations in the body, emotional responses, and the ways your nervous system responds to different situations. This can help us notice patterns of protection or coping that may have developed for good reason, but may no longer be serving you in the same way.

We gently explore both your past experiences and what is happening in your life today, allowing you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.

Mindfulness, Reflection and Meaning:

Mindfulness is another important part of my work. Learning to become more present with our experience — rather than immediately judging, avoiding, or trying to change it — can create a different relationship with ourselves.

I also draw on philosophical wisdom and reflection where it feels meaningful to you. Questions about suffering, change, relationships, purpose, and what it means to live a fulfilling life can sometimes become an important part of the therapeutic process.

A Collaborative Process:

There is no fixed formula for therapy. I work collaboratively and at your pace, adapting our work to you and to what emerges between us.

My role is not to tell you who you should be or to provide all the answers. Rather, I offer a steady and compassionate space in which we can explore together what is happening in your life and what you might need.

Over time, this can support greater self-awareness, resilience, and a stronger sense of connection with yourself.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to change. We can begin wherever you are.

I look forward to meeting you soon.
