About me
I'm Omolola (Lola) Lawal, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a deep passion for supporting individuals in their emotional and spiritual healing journey. After a fulfilling 19-year career in the oil and gas industry, I followed a calling into the counseling field to help others find restoration, clarity, and wholeness.
My approach to therapy is holistic, grounded in evidence-based practices, and enriched with biblical principles for those who desire a faith-based perspective. I believe that true healing involves the mind, body, and spirit.
Creating a safe, trusting environment is central to my work. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, anger, grief, boundary issues, life transitions, and relational dysfunction. With compassion and empathy, I help clients gain insight, build emotional resilience, and move forward with confidence.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from Lincoln Christian University and bring a wealth of life experience to my clinical work as a second-career counselor. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a member of both the Illinois Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
My goal is simple: to walk alongside you as you become the best version of yourself—restored, renewed, and empowered.
