About me
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with 10+ years of clinical and research experience dedicated to supporting patients with mental health and wellness.
Hi there and welcome! I’m Dr. Olivia Skalski, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 10 years of experience conducting psychotherapy with clients of all ages. I also have a background administering psychological assessments, providing clinical supervision/consultation to other clinicians, and teaching at the graduate level. I earned my doctorate degree from William James College in Boston, MA and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Hartford. I utilize an integrated therapeutic approach implementing a variety of evidence-based frameworks such as CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, solution-focused, and narrative interventions. Our work together would be unique to you as I tailor my techniques to fit you personally. I value taking a collaborative and compassionate approach, developing a strong therapeutic rapport and cultivating safety in session so we can walk along the journey of healing together. My style emphasizes curiosity and connection, inviting clients to understand themselves better and how their past and current experiences may shape their emotional and behavioral patterns. I welcome the opportunity to provide you a nonjudgmental, confidential space to feel empowered to grow, increase insight, and accomplish your goals.
