About me
I want you to leave each session feeling more at ease, understood, and supported. I strive to create a welcoming and empathetic environment where you can be your true self and explore what brought you to therapy without fear of judgment. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and a client-centered approach, my goal is to help you move toward your own goals while feeling heard, fulfilled, and empowered.
My greatest strengths are my empathy and open-mindedness. Through experience working with a wide range of diagnoses and therapeutic approaches, I have learned how to adapt to your individual needs while creating an atmosphere of genuine compassion and understanding. I believe everyone deserves a space to discover who they are, feel supported, find inner peace, and continue to grow.
Hello, I’m Nora Murray, a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2021 with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Since then, I have gained experience working with anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, substance use, grief, life adjustments, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. My approach to therapy flows with your unique needs and goals. I understand that starting therapy or finding a new therapist can feel stressful, and I strive to make the process as comfortable as possible. You can expect to feel welcomed, supported, and provided with a safe space to build insight and personal growth. I am committed to walking alongside you, helping you achieve your goals, offering guidance, and being a steady source of support through whatever challenges may arise.
