About me
I am dedicated therapist who loves helping people overcome life's difficulties, whether they be mental health problems, identity concerns, or challenging situations.
Life is hard sometimes (a lot of the time), and when it is, it's okay for you to ask for help. Whether you're struggling with a mental heath concern, trying to figure out who you are, or navigating a difficult life transition, it can be helpful to have someone nonjudgmental to talk to who will hold what you have to say in confidence. You deserve a safe space to address your needs and find solutions, which can entail learning new coping or life skills, or learning how to live with and adapt to a situation.
I believe that you have the ability to reach your full potential, and its okay to need a helping hand to do so. As a therapist I avoid telling people what they should do, and instead prefer to help you to meet goals you've set for yourself. I have experience working with people with a variety of mental health conditions, from addictions to mood disorders to trauma. I also bring my lived experience as a trans woman, veteran, and person in long term recovery to the table.
I see clients in-person and online in affiliation with The M.A.D. Therapy.
