About me
Hi, I’m Nina. I work with adults and teens (15+) who often feel overwhelmed by their emotions or unsure why they’re struggling. If you’ve ever felt like something is wrong with you, you’re not alone—and it’s safe to explore these feelings here. Many of my clients have experienced trauma or major life transitions, though that’s not required to benefit from therapy.
As someone who has navigated significant life changes—including immigration, divorce, rebuilding family life, and exposure to the trauma of war—I understand how disorienting and exhausting transitions can feel. Originally from Ukraine, I’ve lived through displacement, built a life in Germany, and now call the U.S. home. These experiences shape my deep respect for resilience, cultural identity, and the complexity of starting over.
In sessions, my clients often begin to feel more at ease with themselves and better able to understand their emotions and patterns. They leave feeling supported, heard, and safer exploring their emotions, with coping skills that feel realistic and tailored to them. Over time, clients report increased self-compassion, confidence, and a sense of pride in their growth—knowing they don’t have to be perfect, just supported and equipped to handle life as it comes.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to be present with you—offering support, guidance, and encouragement as you make sense of your experiences, build coping skills that fit you, and reconnect with your inner strength. I work from a humanistic, trauma-informed approach and integrate CBT-based techniques to support emotional regulation, self-worth, and healthier relationships.
