About me

I specialize in working with adults who experience persistent anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma, family conflict, multicultural issues, and life transitions. More specifically, I support clients with challenges around mood, assertiveness, self-esteem, boundary-setting, “people pleasing”, frequent guilt, neglect, or sense of obligation to others. I work especially well with those who have experienced unhealthy relationship dynamics, such as emotional abuse or manipulation. My background as a first-generation Greek-American has also contributed to my knowledge of and interest in cross-cultural concerns.

My aim is to help clients alleviate distress, feel more empowered, and gain insight into unhelpful patterns that may be keeping them feeling stuck. With training in several psychotherapy approaches, I “mix and match” the ways in which I support and collaborate with clients in order to achieve specific goals.

The most important part of therapy is the trust between therapist and client, which is why my priority is to have an authentic relationship that allows for us to dive in to challenging topics. Please feel free to reach out to schedule a free initial phone consultation to see if we might be a good fit!
