About me

I am a depth-oriented therapist experienced in helping people navigate relationships with spirituality, motherhood, food and body image, grief and loss, and life transitions.

I work primarily from a depth psychological perspective, based in the work of Carl Jung, which means that I focus on the wholeness that I believe is innate in every individual and look beyond the symptoms to the deeper inner life of the person seeking my help. Depth psychology is about allowing the parts of us that have been repressed or rejected to come forward, be witnessed, and re-integrated in order to experience transformation and healing from our suffering. My intention for our work together is to take be collaborative and take a position of curiosity. I want to come alongside you as we together explore the lesser known parts of you that have been neglected perhaps for far too long. This work may come in the form of tending to your dream-life, exploring your inner thoughts and feelings, or exploring the way your physical and energetic body has responded to life experiences and ways it may need to be liberated to truly heal.

I truly enjoy coming alongside mothers to explore the unique challenges of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum mood and anxiety, and parenting. I really appreciate conversations about how to find the sacred in the mundane, busy, every day logistics of life.

My experience also includes over 15 years of working with individuals struggling with eating disorders and body image dissatisfaction.

I also am interested and experienced in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, shame, self-doubt, or spiritual questions. I am available to work with people who are interested in exploring how these things affect our relationships and level of connectedness with ourself, others, and the world. I take an embodied and compassion-focused approach to therapy and also offer gentle challenges and honest feedback as necessary in service of our relationship and your relationship with yourself.

I am deeply inspired by the work of Carl Jung and Marion Woodman and am a student of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices. I love reading Mary Oliver poetry and I often incorporate meditation, breath work, and guided imagery into sessions in order to help you feel grounded, connected to your body, and have internal resources you can draw on when you are living daily life in challenging times. I also can work with people in a non-therapy, coaching format to deepen mindfulness and meditation practices.

If you are interested in working together and investing in the process of integrating the parts of you that have been rejected or neglected, in service of a meaningful and connected life- please reach out- send me an email or give me a call. Let’s talk.
