Dr. Nihal Makhyoun is a licensed clinical psychologist, licensed marriage family therapist and a certified substance abuse provider (SAP). She has extensive clinical experience offering evidence-based treatment, psychological assessments, court evaluations, consultations, and expert testimony.
The Institute of Behavioral Health and Wellness offers individual, couples, family, group psychotherapy, psychological reports and evaluations. In addition to Sound bowl Meditation and College & Career Counseling. They provide clinical and counseling services for children (ages 5 and up), teens, adults, and the geriatric population. The Clinicians and staff utilize a client-focused, strength-based, solution-oriented approach that is individually tailored to meet client's needs, circumstance and goals. College advisor works one-on-one to create a custom timeline and strategy to improve chances of admission, develop a testing plan for SAT or ACT, AP exams, SAT subject tests, identify and research potential college matches, brainstorm and edit college essays, review college applications, manage deadlines and submission of applications, search for scholarships matches, apply for FAFSA/Dream Act, review financial aid packages, and more. A must have for college going students in this competitive and costly post-secondary academic climate.
