I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. I have always felt the my work is a calling. I am a counselor because it is who I am at the core of who I am. My passion is helping people to feel good about themselves and empowering them to create the life they want. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work. I have worked most of my career in Employee Assistance. This has given me experience with an array of issues such as people coping with depression, anxiety, stress, work issues, grief, relationship issues, etc. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Techniques in my practice. All of my experience is with individual adults.

I pride myself on making people that I work with feel cared for and valued. As long as I can remember, I was told- "You see the good in everyone". My approach is very client-centered and client directed. I feel therapy is a partnership not a passive process. No one is an expert in another person's life; therefore, I take time to get to know my clients. I am especially interested in client's history, their challenges, and more importantly I am interested in a client's strengths and qualities.
