About me
Nicole Singer, currently is working as a Clinical Therapist at a PTSD Recovery Facility. She works diligently on supporting and maintaining treatment and therapy to her community, active service members and first responders. . She is apart of a highly trained and impressive group of clinicians who provide direct therapeutic services, in an inpatient setting.
Nicole is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, and currently working towards her clinical designation in the state of Kansas. She has a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Emporia State University.
Nicole offers individual, couples, and family counseling for issues related to (but not limited to) substance use, premarital relations, post-marital relations, infidelity, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression.
Nicole’s passion is to empower individuals and couples to overcome personal obstacles that constrain or cause stress in their personal and intimate relationships. Research proves that unhealthy (interpersonal) relationships can cause both emotional and physical distress, while healthy relationships can enhance and improve one’s overall purpose and well-being. Nicole believes both individuals and couples can enrich the quality of these relationships through the practice of (several) therapeutic modalities that are evidenced-based interventions. She employs these processes with creativity, imagination, and humor while teaching clients the tools they need to conquer a variety of complex behavioral needs and relationship stressors. Through guidance and application, one can become equipped to master both oneself and their relationship goals.
Nicole believes in providing, a safe, confidential, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment for individuals to comfortably work through their feelings, thoughts, self-images and beliefs. In order to provide the best possible care, Nicole works collaboratively with physicians, psychiatrists, and nutritionists to implement the best plan for each client and circumstance. Doing so brings a broad spectrum approach that challenges each client to grow and achieve the best version of themselves.
