About me
"Support for the woman who constantly cares for others. If you feel overwhelmed and stretched thin, I’m here to help you regain your balance and well-being." My calling to this work comes from my own experience of holding everything in, carrying the weight of caring for others, and hiding my own exhaustion. For a long time, I understood what it meant to keep going even when I needed a break, to put others' needs before my own, and to believe I had to handle everything on my own.
Through my own growth and continued practice, I have learned the importance of self-care, self-compassion, and giving myself permission to slow down. I've learned that asking for help is not a sign of weakness, and that taking a break does not mean I'm falling behind. These experiences have deepened my passion for helping other women who find themselves caught in the same cycle of giving, doing, and carrying-while quietly putting their own needs last. I believe you can care deeply for the people you love without losing yourself in the process.
Our first session is typically conversational and focused on understanding your unique experiences and needs. I also provide psychoeducation when helpful so that you can better understand what you're experiencing and begin developing practical tools for managing life's challenges. Throughout therapy, I integrate mindfulness, coping skills, behavioral strategies, emotional processing, and self-reflection to support meaningful and lasting growth.
I am particularly dedicated to supporting busy women who are caregivers and are experiencing burnout, anxiety, stress, and the emotional challenges that come with supporting others while neglecting their own needs. Many of my clients enter therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Together, we work to help them achieve a greater sense of balance, confidence, empowerment, and the ability to prioritize their own well-being.
Clients frequently tell me that therapy has helped them improve their self-esteem, feel less judged, and develop a stronger sense of empowerment in their lives. Using an emotion-focused approach, I help clients better understand their emotions, strengthen self-awareness, and create healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
My hope is that after working together, you'll feel as though a weight has been lifted from your shoulders and that you have the tools, insight, and confidence to move forward with greater ease.
It's okay to seek help and prioritize your self-care. You deserve support, too.
