About me
I am an experienced licensed clinical social worker who is dedicated to helping clients of all ages and backgrounds heal from trauma, stress, depression and anxiety.
I have provided therapy to children, adolescents, families, and adults in a variety of settings. My clients come from a wide range of backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA. I aim to create a warm, safe environment where clients can address mental health, identity, oppression, and relationship issues. I have a strong belief in empowerment and healing from trauma and oppression. My own experiences of recovery from the effects of racism, homophobia and trauma have shaped my approach as a healer.
I offer a free 30-minute consultation to identify your needs and to see if we’re a good fit to work together. Our first session will focus on exploring your concerns, gathering information about your experiences and creating a plan to achieve your goals. I work with many clients who have been affected by trauma in their families and in society. I enjoy helping clients explore the ways that culture and ethnicity play a significant role in their experience. In addition to traditional techniques of psychotherapy, I also use mindfulness and meditation to support the process of healing.
