About me
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting adults through culturally grounded, trauma-informed therapy focused on healing, connection, growth, and empowerment. Culturally responsive. Queer-affirming. Grounded in connection.
*NOTE: To ensure timely support and reduce spam, I kindly ask that prospective clients avoid email inquiries. If you are interested in working together, I'd love to connect and encourage you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation through my Psychology Today profile via Headway (link to the Right). This helps us get started in the most efficient and secure way possible.
Life can feel overwhelming, especially when relationships, past experiences, or internal struggles begin to impact your daily functioning or emotional well-being. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where individuals and couples can explore their challenges, identify patterns, and work toward meaningful change.
I work with adults navigating a wide range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, communication difficulties, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. In couples therapy, I support partners in improving communication, rebuilding trust, navigating conflict, and deepening emotional connection. Whether you're dealing with recent stressors or longstanding patterns, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and re-engage with your life and relationships more intentionally.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity and respect. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care, while tailoring sessions to each client’s goals, values, and lived experiences. I value transparency, empowerment, and the therapeutic relationship as essential elements of the work.
I welcome individuals and couples from all backgrounds and identities. As a queer therapist of color, I am especially passionate about supporting members of the Black, Brown, and LGBTQ+ communities. I strive to create a space where culture, identity, and lived experience are acknowledged, affirmed, respected, and where all clients feel safe, seen, and supported.
