About me
Support can be hard to come by. In times of stress, it can be helpful to have a space where you can process the challenges that you experience in life. The hardest part of the process in seeking therapy is in making initial contact. Having a therapist that can work collaboratively from a nonjudgmental and compassionate place. It is important for the client to feel comfortable in order to engage in a meaningful and authentic way.
With 10 years of clinical, assessment, and research experience, in addition to my lived experience as a person with multiple intersecting identities, I can utilize these experiences to help bring context to client’s in our session.
Increasing the client’s capacity for self-reflection is foundational to my work and I place great emphasis on respect and transparency. Through our work together it is my hope that we can work towards growth and empowerment while gaining the skills to navigate the hardships that you face in life.
I specialize in working with marginalized communities (gender, race/ethnicity, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA, etc), in addition to working with clients that were raised in a toxic family and the effect it has on current relationships. I also offer ADHD/AuDHD coaching sessions as well as behavioral and mental health consultation. Rates vary due to duration and need.
My theoretical orientation is integrative with an insight-oriented psychodynamic and relational foundation. I utilize other interventions such as cognitive behavioral, intersectional and feminist theories, as well as incorporating the effect of family and institutional systems on mental health in our sessions.
My credentials are listed as follows: BA., Psychology, Minor in English Literature; MA., General Psychology, Clinical Psychology Emphasis; MA., Clinical Psychology, Health Emphasis; MA., MHC., Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness; PhD(c)., Clinical Psychology
Individual Session Rate: From $100- $150. Couple Session Rate: From $150- $300.
I am fully remote and only offer weekly virtual sessions. I do not write accommodation letters for disability or family leave claims.
