About me
Hello, I am so glad you are here! My hope is that your time in therapy brings you joy, hope, and a renewed desire to rise above your circumstances. I’m dedicated to helping you find the resolutions you seek, and I’m here to support you every step of the way on your journey. One of the most fulfilling parts of therapy for me is empowering my clients to reach their goals and find greater joy in life. I completely understand how difficult it can be to find a therapist who truly resonates with you and can walk alongside you on your wellness journey. People seek therapy for many different reasons, and some challenges can feel quite complex. Whether you’re searching for a straightforward solution to a difficult situation or looking for guidance to navigate deeper emotional experiences, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Congratulations on taking this important step towards your journey of self-discovery. As we embark on this therapeutic adventure together, my main focus is to cultivate a warm and supportive relationship built on openness, curiosity, compassion, trust, and acceptance. Creating this connection is vital, especially as we prepare to explore deeper emotions and beliefs.
I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in South Carolina, and I’m excited to provide services in both English and Spanish. Since I began my journey as a clinical counselor in 2014, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life—different ages, genders, religions, ethnicities, races, and sexual orientations. Over the past 11 years, I’ve supported individuals facing challenges such as substance abuse, domestic violence, and trauma. My experience spans outpatient centers, shelters, medical settings, and private practice, where I’ve held roles as a clinical counselor, team leader, supervisor, and director. Currently, I find great joy in one-on-one work with clients of all ages in private practice.
I truly enjoy counseling women, children, adolescents, parents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. My approach is eclectic, blending evidence-based, client-centered, and attachment-based perspectives. This allows us to uncover your unique strengths and navigate through life’s challenges together.
Rather than telling you what to do, I like to explore possibilities with you, empowering you to make informed decisions that resonate with your heart.
So how will we achieve this together? We’ll create a personalized plan, known as a Treatment Plan in therapy, designed to guide your healing journey. This will help you process emotions, build resilience, and ultimately find a sense of personal fulfillment and well-being. I’m here to support you every step of the way!
