About me
Nancy L. Bevins, M.Ed, NCC, LPCC-S, LPC. LPC VA
It has been my experience as a licensed counselor that clients know themselves better than anyone. I see therapy as a joint venture where our knowledge and skills are combined to create resolutions and new pathways. A good therapeutic relationship includes trust, authenticity, freedom to express oneself and positive outcomes.
I specialize in in treating adults who struggle with mood issues such as anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Bipolar Disorder. My approaches include Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy based on theories and methods of change.
I completed my B.A. at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky. My Master’s degree was also obtained through Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky. I am currently enrolled at Capella University where I currently finishing my Doctorate in Psychology.
I enjoy helping others and making a difference!
