About me
Hello and welcome!
My name is Nakeisha McGee, and I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I’ve worked in the field of mental health and substance use since 2005 and have provided digital therapy since 2018.
Over the years, I’ve supported individuals, couples, children, and teens as they’ve navigated trauma, addiction, and major life transitions — in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I’ve also directed school- and community-based programs, so I understand how healing connects to every part of life: relationships, work, and self-worth.
My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Rational Emotive Therapy, tailoring each session to meet you exactly where you are. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership — where we explore your story together, from your point of view, and find solutions that truly fit you.
I’m especially passionate about helping people rebuild connection, deepen emotional intimacy, and learn how to communicate in healthier, more fulfilling ways.
I’ve returned to direct care with a fresh perspective and a deeper dedication to helping clients create meaningful change.
💬 Let’s begin your next level of greatness.
Please note: I’m located in the Central Standard Time zone.
