I am an experienced counselor who is dedicated to helping individuals, couples and families using Enneagram Empowered Psychotherapy and Progressive Psychology.

I am a Licensed in Arizona and Montana. I am the owner/Clinical Director of Ahwatukee Psychology in Phoenix AZ (www.ahwatukeepsychology.com) and founder of Center for Progressive Therapies in Livingston/Bozeman MT (www.centerprogressive.com). I hold numerous psychotherapy specialty certifications including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Multisystemic Therapy, Sex Therapy, and Nurtured Heart Approach, along with personality systems certifications including Myers Briggs Type Indicator, DISC, True Colors and Enneagram. I have advanced training in crisis counseling, short-term/solution-focused counseling, structural, strategic and systems theory. My companies accept self-pay and most insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare to allow for quality, accessible, affordable mental health care to everyone

I work with individuals, couples, families and groups using a unique “progressive approach” incorporating personality and communication style with family and cultural influences through a culture and trauma-informed perspective. I've been providing training and counseling services for over 25 years. I'm known for my direct, practical, yet compassionate and inspiring approach to problem conceptualization and solving. In addition to psychotherapy services, I offer clinical supervision, business consultation, speaking engagements, training, and couples/relationship retreats. I also offer Enneagram Empowered Psychotherapy™ Certification for licensed clinicians worldwide.

I earned a Master’s degree from Northern Arizona University with an emphasis in Counseling Psychology after graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Communication with minor emphasis in Psychology and Sociology. I'm married with two children and practice the holistic method of health I teach (balance of physical, financial, emotional, spiritual, sexual and relational factors).
