Hello, I'm Mya and I want to help others to understand how thoughts and feelings link to behaviors. I enjoy breaking those patterns we either don’t like anymore, felt kept happening, and/or kept getting us in trouble.

I can be found on a tele-health platform called RULA.COM (https://www.rula.com). This is where I securely see clients. I accept various types of insurance but You must go to Rula.com to see if I accept your insurance. I am accepting clients in California and Indiana only. I’ve used several different approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, strength-based, and the recovery model (to name a few) to help understand how emotions affect behaviors. I started practicing as a social worker/clinician in 2011 and have been licensed in Indiana since 2021 and California since 2023. The population I see are adults. I appreciate being a vessel of support when needed. I have a passion to educate and learn from others, which has helped me to understand counseling is very diverse and is different for each individuals. If I can share one thing about myself will be, I'm not perfect and I may not have all the answers, but together, we can figure out what works best at the time.
