About me
I believe in the inherent potential of each individual to grow and heal. I aim to provide a supportive and adaptable therapeutic environment. I strive to foster resilience and facilitate personal development and recovery.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and extensive experience supporting clients across the lifespan, from young children to older adults. I have a deep passion for helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and parenting needs. I enjoy working with clients in a way that is compassionate, individualized, and empowering.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and integrative, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build emotional regulation and coping skills, Trauma-Focused CBT to guide healing from past trauma, and play therapy techniques to engage and support children in a developmentally appropriate way. I also incorporate traditional psychodynamic approaches to explore underlying emotions and relational patterns. This diverse toolkit allows me to adapt treatment to the specific needs, goals, and personalities of each client and family.
When working with children and teenagers, I prioritize collaboration with parents, caregivers, school staff, and medical providers to ensure a consistent, supportive approach to care. I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore challenges, develop new skills, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
My ultimate goal is to help every client build resilience, gain insight, and feel supported in a way that honors their unique journey and strengths.
