About me
I am a psychotherapist experienced in working with adults struggling with difficult life transitions, grief, child loss, anxiety, professional burnout, loss of joy, aging, trauma, personality disorders, and psychosis.
My journey as a therapist began in earnest with my own need to heal from adverse childhood experiences, the traumatic loss of a career, a fractured marriage, and a displaced sense of identity. I draw from a lifetime of personal and professional experiences walking with others through difficult life transitions, facing challenging and vulnerable emotions, healing the scars of traumatic experiences, and finding stability, connection, and meaning when life feels unpredictable, isolating, and hollow.
I lean into psychoanalytic and existential therapy approaches. That is to say, I believe unexamined motives and the resistence one faces living authentically and meaningfully are often at the root of what keeps us stuck and causes us to suffer. I view your therapeutic work as a sacred journey inward to connect with the Source needed to face what is challenging you with the dignity, resilience, and authenticity that bring fulfillment. It would be my honor to be your fellow traveler.
