About me
My name is Mitchell and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in both medical and behavioral health settings. I specialize in working with adults navigating chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and life transitions—especially those who feel stuck or disconnected in their current phase of life. I help by offering a compassionate, practical, and collaborative approach that integrates evidence-based practices such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based therapy.
My background in a medical diagnostic setting allows me to support clients facing complex health-related stress. I am passionate about this work because I believe that healing is possible when people feel truly seen and supported—and I find meaning in helping clients reclaim a sense of direction and strength in their lives. I specialize in working with individuals who have chronic illnesses such as diabetes, cystic fibrosis, liver cirrhosis, HIV/AIDS, and any other medical condition that requires close monitoring. Additionally, my expertise is focused on a variety of anxiety disorders and Men's issues.
