I am Miranda Brown, PhD, LPC-S, NCC, and I am the owner and therapist with Nova Counseling & Consulting Solutions, LLC. I am an experienced clinical therapist/counselor who is dedicated to promote overall mental and emotional health and wellbeing.

At Nova Counseling & Consulting Solutions, we provide compassionate counseling, consulting, and training services focused on emotional, mental, and behavioral well-being. Whether you're an individual, part of a couple or family, or a group we're here to support your journey toward overall health and wellbeing. We believe you were made for more than just existing — you were made to experience life fully. Together, we’ll discover the light within that will guide you on your path to transformation. I am licensed in the state of Louisiana and can provide services to anyone in the state; and, currently offering only virtual appointments. The goal is to expand and scale services once I build my clientele. I recently launched my practice after roughly 15 years of working in the mental/behavioral health counseling field gaining deep clinical experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations utilizing a wide range of therapeutic modalities. Some of my special interest populations include college age students, survivors of interpersonal violence, and historically marginalized populations. Niche areas of expertise include college student health and well-being, family and couples counseling, survivor support, and women's mental and emotional health. I am also a board approved LPC- Supervisor and I offer supervision to PLPC's. I provide consulting and training services to community partners to establish collaborative mental health partnerships and other areas as requested. My passion is to create safe healing spaces and normalize mental health for all.
