About me

I am an experienced mental health therapist who integrates cultural sensitivity and spiritual awareness into the counseling process. My clinical experience has shown that I work particularly well with clients seeking support for mood stabilization, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, anger, and the emotional stress that often accompanies difficult life experiences.

My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood, regardless of how overwhelmed or discouraged they may feel when they begin therapy. Together, we work to build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and foster resilience so that clients leave each session with greater hope, confidence, and the tools to move forward with courage, peace, and wisdom.

I immigrated to the United States 25 years ago and have earned two master's degrees—one in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and another in Communications. My passion for mental health grew from my own life journey, including childhood experiences, adapting to cultural differences as an immigrant, and navigating between Eastern and Western values. Along the way, I have also experienced significant personal trauma, including surviving a mass shooting and losing my home in a Fire. These experiences have deepened my empathy and strengthened my commitment to helping others heal.

Professionally, I have worked in addiction treatment for less than two years and have provided school-based mental health services in a high school setting for 1.5 years. I find great fulfillment in helping clients restore relationships, build resilience, and discover renewed meaning and purpose in their lives. It is a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they move toward healing, growth, and hope.
