About me
Hi, I'm Milicent! I'm a Professional Counselor Associate dedicated to helping individuals increase self-compassion, understanding, and acceptance.
I work best with clients who value a collaborative & relational approach and want to gain a better understanding of deeply held emotional beliefs that shape the way they move through the world. Many of my clients want to explore their inner world and transform patterns & beliefs that contribute to feeling "stuck". Clients I work with often identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or chronically ill, or may have experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions.
I take an approach that centers mindfulness, a non-judgmental noticing of different parts of one's self. In therapy, we will study the ways that you have adapted to survive adverse experiences. By gaining a deeper understanding of one's self, we can bring compassion and reintroduce choice to patterns that have felt stuck.
I offer a free 20 minute consultation to potential new clients. Email to schedule!
