About me
I am a psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience with adults from diverse backgrounds and with gay, bisexual, and questioning community.
Life can be a journey with challenges where one wants to overcome those hurtles, yet solutions seem out of reach. For me, it is a privilege to accompany you on your journey and explore solutions to overcome these challenges. Much like life, therapy is a journey where you discover your power to overcome. As a therapist, my goal is simple: you are my goal! You are at the center of this journey. You are the main character who deserves dignity and compassion as you discover your power to move forward with your life journey.
Problems can be ongoing, occasional, big or small, regardless of the kind of problem the solution is tailored for you through evidenced-based strategies, such as cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, or action and commitment therapy. My experience with these strategies and other therapy approaches provides you with the tools for your journey.
You are unique! Your story is yours and sharing your story sometimes is intimidating or maybe not. Either way, my experience with depression, anxiety, and trauma have allowed me the honor of working with individuals who have diverse backgrounds and needs – unique stories from unique people. My aim is to embrace you as you are at every meeting.
