About me
Therapy is where people bring all of their different pieces together - without criticism or judgement. As a counselor, I have dedicated myself to creating a space that welcomes your authentic personality, your struggles, your wins, and most importantly your dreams. We will be collaborators in the work of reaching your goals. I specialize in bringing liberation, culture, joy, and social power perspectives into therapy, offering services for dealing with anxiety, grief, major life changes, family conflict, and struggling with their identity.
I am a Carolina native, who spent her childhood on her family’s small farm. It was here that I developed an interest in people and how our connection to our communities shapes our life. This interest pushed me toward counseling, as I recognized the importance of spaces that allow people to thrive as their authentic selves with dignity and respect to their being. I believe in the unlimited power that exists within each person for change. There is an abundance of wisdom that is often overlooked by our own insecurities or visions of what “good” “successful” or even “happy” looks like - when wisdom tells us that our version of all these things is within us, if only we allow it to emerge.
Revolutionary Thinking is a practice that values wholeness and creativity. Emphasizing a 360-degree integrative approach, this practice is grounded in authenticity, valuing genuine human connections and working to ensure quick access to care and scheduling flexibility.
