I am a trauma-informed therapist specializing in helping clients heal from trauma, build emotional resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Welcome to Clarity Within Counseling. I'm Michelle Thurman, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping adults reconnect with their inner clarity, heal emotional wounds, and move toward a more grounded and authentic life.
My approach is deeply rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a gentle yet powerful model that recognizes we all carry different parts of ourselves—some that protect, some that feel pain, and some that guide us with wisdom and calm. In our work together, every part will be welcomed with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
I specialize in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, struggle with emotional overwhelm, or feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I also have a deep commitment to working with LGBTQ+ clients, creatives, and sensitive souls navigating identity, self-worth, and complex relationships.
