About me
With more than 5 decades of life experience, twenty years working with disabled children, and a deep understanding of the challenges that come with change, loss, and personal growth, I bring more than just clinical expertise to the counseling process—I bring perspective. I’ve walked through life’s highs and lows, and I know that healing isn’t just about theory; it’s about connection, resilience, and learning to trust yourself again.
My approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, but what truly shapes my work is the belief that understanding comes not only from books and training but from lived experience. Whether you’re facing grief, anxiety, or a major life transition, I offer a space where you can be heard, understood, and guided toward renewal. You don’t have to walk this journey alone—I’m here to help you find strength in your own story.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, I’m dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate the challenges of grief, anxiety, and depression. I understand that life can feel overwhelming at times, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward at their own pace.
My approach to therapy is primarily cognitive-behavioral, rooted in the belief that each person has the capacity to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be holding you back and work toward building healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and responding to life’s stressors. At the heart of my work is compassion and connection—I believe those are essential for real and lasting transformation.
I see therapy as a collaborative process, and I deeply value the trust my clients place in me. Whether you’re going through a major life transition or quietly struggling beneath the surface, I’m here to walk with you and help you rediscover your own resilience.
Outside the office, I try to keep things simple and meaningful. I love getting lost in a good book, planning my next travel adventure (even if it’s just in my imagination), and spending time with my son—who always keeps life interesting.
If you’re feeling stuck or simply ready for a change, I’d be honored to support you in finding clarity, balance, and hope. You don’t have to face it alone.
