About me
My approach to therapy centers on helping clients discover their purpose and meaning in life. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a powerful tool for change, and I strive to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel empowered to make their own decisions and work toward their goals.
In addition to my private practice, I have experience providing both individual and group therapy across a variety of clinical settings. Much of my work has involved supporting clients impacted by alcohol and drug dependency through group facilitation and prevention services.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University. I also hold a certification in Gerontology from the University of Texas at Arlington.
My areas of specialty include:
• Substance and alcohol abuse
• Geriatric issues
• Depression and anxiety
• Women’s issues
• Life transitions
