About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I received my B.S in Clinical/Applied Psychology and my M.S in Clinical/Applied Psychology from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Throughout my career, I have had experience working with adolescents and young adults who have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, gender/identity struggles, life adjustment stressors, and I am allied with the LGBTQIA+ community.
My therapeutic approach is one that is personalized and collaborative. I often utilize traditional talk therapy with mindfulness-based therapy which allows for a trustworthy, therapeutic environment when working with adolescents and young adults.
As a counselor, my ultimate goal is to empower my clients to become their best self while discovering quick solutions to find balance, develop coping skills, build healthy relationships, and gain clarity. My use of empathy and sympathy helps to guide my clients to a more solution focused approach to healing. There is always hope and room for growth.
