About me

I work with moms feeling stressed and overwhelmed after having a baby and with children managing their emotions.

Hi! I understand how stressful life can be, and I'm so you came across my page so I can help you through it! I'm sure you may be feeling more nervous and on edge than usual, maybe you're having trouble sleeping at night because your brain won't shut off, or maybe you have a child dealing with a loss or change in the home and needs help expressing themselves. I have years of experience working with moms, children, and families manage these heavy emotions and balancing the stresses of life.

I have been a counselor for 5 years and working with children for 8 years. I have experience working in schools, hospitals, and private practice providing ongoing care! My practice focuses on bringing compassionate care and creating a safe space for clients to express themselves. Not only am I an LPC, but I specialize in working with children in a play therapy setting providing a safe space for them to learn how to express their feelings. I also specialize with moms and dads who recently had a baby and are feeling the stresses of being a new parent. Whether it is postpartum depression/anxiety or processing a traumatic birth, I am here to help you through it. With training and certifications in perinatal mental health and child play therapy, I am here to support you on your path towards healing and growing. I also am a former college athlete and have experience working with athletes to enhance their performance. While it is important to be physically trained, sometimes our mental game gets the best of us and I am here to help those athletes who feel like they are not good enough.

My therapy approaches are solution-focused and trauma informed. I am trained in different types of therapies so you can receive the best care possible! Sometimes we will talk, sometimes we will draw or play, maybe use the sand tray, or you may need deeper processing and want EMDR. Whatever it is you are need, I got you, and I will help you develop the coping skills and tools to be more successful and make life a little bit more manageable.
