About me
Hi there! Welcome to taking the steps to explore and learn more ways to cope with stressors in your life. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and have been able to help a variety of clients who have needed extra support in their lives. Professionally, I have been a licensed counselor in different states, but I am currently active in Maine.
Counseling can be scary to start, and I am hopeful you will choose me to help you navigate this part of your journey. My goal is to help you feel heard, safe and understood. As a counselor, I want to teach people more about themselves and help them learn healthier ways to manage when going through trying times and emotions. I believe in being empathetic and can be direct at the same time. I meet my clients where they are and utilize a variety of modalities CBT, Mindfulness, Narrative, and DBT are just a few, and I am happy to discuss others. Counseling is a partnership, and I hope to help you feel better in mind, body, and spirit.
