About me
I am here to help you navigate life with compassion, authenticity and soundness.
Therapy provides a safe space to take a look at your life, especially your scary and challenging experiences. Fortunately, there are things that we understand about how the mind and body work that can help. My approach is to provide some education about how the mind and body work together to deepen our understanding of ourselves and others. By becoming conscious of our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors we can learn to make conscious choices that free us from the past or unhealthy habits. Combining this approach with tools to manage emotions, improve interpersonal interactions, improve executive functioning, and reduce anxiety results in new ways of being and expressing oneself. Currently, most of my clients are adults, young and old, who are coping with depression, anxiety, Post-Traumatic -Stress- Disorder or Attention-Deficit-Hyperactivity- Disorder. Although most of my clients are individuals I also provide family and couples counseling.
