Hi, I'm Michele! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). I have 23 years of clinical experience gained from private practice, Johns Hopkins Hospital/University & Gettysburg College.

Many clients I see feel overwhelmed and anxious for a variety of reasons. They might feel like their thoughts won't stop, they doubt themselves and have a hard time thinking clearly. Some feel like they are spiraling and wish they could grasp their emotions. Other people often think they "have it all together," yet they are fighting mental battles they don't tell anyone else.
I also have people meet with me because they want to perform better in their sport, in academics or at work. This is a service that can be consultative rather than therapeutic.
Life can be tough and having someone you trust to help you navigate or heal is important! When we are struggling, it can be a lonely place to be causing feelings of shame and hopelessness. I've worked with many people who have struggled far too long & have been discouraged by past therapeutic experiences.
