Micheal grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina where they are reeling from the most catastrophic loss in the history of the State due to hurricane Helene. Micheal's family was a blue collar family where most of his relatives worked in the textile and furniture industry. Micheal was the first of his family/relatives to get a bachelor degree as well as being the first to join the Marine Corps. Micheal's parents also had two different resturants when he was growing up as a child. Micheal enjoys carrying on that family tradition of cooking and feeding others. Micheal has worked with clients of all ages as he has 15 years working with adolescents, 13 years working with adults, and a many more years working with the elderly. Micheal is a skilled therapist that will be your biggest cheerleader during your most difficult times in your life, he will challenge you, he will hold you accountable, he is compassionate/empathetic, and when needed he is direct.
