About me
I am an experienced psychotherapist who is dedicated to helping adolescents, and adults, cope with anxiety, panic attacks, and perinatal/postpartum adjustment and mental health challenges. I am also passionate about supporting those with ADHD and executive functioning challenges. As a survivor myself, I have an affinity for working with those experiencing suicide related grief and loss
I earned my Master of Social Work Degree in 1994 from The Catholic University of America. I am licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. I have been supporting families and individuals through life's challenges for over 20 years.
My life experiences and professional background have made me well-versed in crisis management, and trauma-informed practices. I see things from an attachment lens. I come from a strengths based perspective and incorporate evidence based strategies, mindfulness and physical movement in my work with clients. I collaborate with clients to achieve their life goals and vision, while learning new skills that support them in their daily lives.
On the journey of life the only constant is change. Partner with me today to learn how to delight in the journey, navigate change, and find your joy.
