About me

I am a licensed mental health counselor with a strong focus on working with individuals who are experiencing complex trauma. Complex trauma is defined by individuals who have experienced prolonged trauma exposure. Trauma exposure can consists of childhood abuse, childhood neglect, abandonment, domestic violence, emotional abuse, and mental abuse. As a result, this can cause individuals to experience a variety of mental health symptoms. Prolonged exposure to trauma can cause anxiety, depression, shame, guilt, anger, mood disorders, and or the inability to make decisions. It can also cause strain on quality of life such as impacting the relationships (personal, intimate, immediate family, family systems, and professional) around us in our day to day lives. I strive to help individuals who are seeking support for complex trauma treatment.

I provide a strong trauma informed approach. I do not have the need for individuals to share what their past traumatic experiences are. Instead, through the individual's approval I can help guide the traumatic experiences to make stronger connections and provide clarity for the psychological wounds. I help make connections for individuals to understand what they may have needed during these traumatic events that they did not received. I help guide individuals to discover healing in the present day from past experiences.
