About me

Psychiatric care for adults who want more than a brief medication visit, integrating therapy-informed support, practical coaching, and thoughtful medication guidance when clinically appropriate.

I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, attention concerns, emotional reactivity, burnout, relationship strain, major life transitions, or the pressure of trying to function well while feeling internally overwhelmed.

Many of the people I work with are capable, thoughtful, and high-functioning on the outside, but privately feel stuck, distracted, emotionally drained, reactive, or unsure how to move forward. Some have tried therapy and found it helpful but incomplete. Others have considered medication but do not want a rushed or overly medication-focused experience. My approach is designed for people who want to better understand what is happening in their mind, body, relationships, and daily life, then create a practical plan for change.

As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide psychiatric assessment, medication management when appropriate, and therapy-informed support. I also integrate coaching strategies for emotional regulation, executive functioning, decision-making, communication, stress recovery, and personal growth. This allows our work to go beyond symptom checklists and brief medication visits. The goal is not simply to reduce distress, but to help you build clarity, stability, confidence, and a healthier way of living.

I take time to understand the full context of your life. That may include your work demands, family or relationship dynamics, sleep, lifestyle patterns, trauma history, health concerns, faith or values, cultural background, and the expectations you carry for yourself. I believe effective care should feel collaborative, respectful, and grounded. You should feel heard, not judged; supported, not rushed; and actively involved in the decisions that affect your care.

Medication can be an important tool, but it is not the whole plan. When medication is clinically appropriate, I approach it thoughtfully and conservatively, with attention to benefits, side effects, goals, and ongoing monitoring. When medication is not the best fit, we focus on other evidence-informed strategies that support emotional regulation, nervous system recovery, behavior change, and improved functioning.

My practice is especially well suited for adults who want a more personalized and integrated experience, including those dealing with anxiety, ADHD or attention concerns, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, performance pressure, emotional dysregulation, or the feeling that they are “holding it together” while quietly struggling.

Clients often appreciate that my style is calm, direct, warm, and practical. I aim to create a space where we can talk honestly, identify patterns, reduce overwhelm, and develop realistic next steps. My work blends clinical expertise with real-world strategy, helping clients move from insight into action.

If you are looking for psychiatric care that includes thoughtful medication guidance, therapy-informed conversation, and practical tools for growth, my practice may be a strong fit.
