I am a Christian Counselor dedicated to helping individuals 12+ and couples. My areas of interest/specialties include ADHD, burn-out, compassion fatigue, perfectionism, and trauma.

Hello! I am a graduate at North Central University with a bachelors in Pastoral Studies and a masters degree from Liberty University. I started my career working with children that had significant behavioral concerns. I then moved into a role where I provided therapy for kids within the foster-care system. Subsequent to this position is when I transitioned into an office where I provided outpatient therapy.

Throughout my career, I have gained training in accelerated resolution therapy (which is used primarily for treating trauma), sand-tray therapy, internal family systems, and mindfulness based interventions. I am also a certified dialectical behavior therapist with 2 years experience teaching and leading groups. From this experience, I enjoy teaching classes at churches and other events on relevant mental health topics including shame and burn-out. In addition, because of my faith background, I value incorporating a biblically oriented and Christ-centered approach into the therapy process.

My other areas of interest I work with include anxiety, depression, marital conflict, infidelity, substance use, life transitions, religious trauma, OCD, grief/loss, and meaning/purpose issues. Wherever you are coming from, my sessions focus on leading with validation, and from validation, encouraging you towards change.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing sports, playing guitar, teaching guitar lessons, spending time with family, participating in outdoor activities, and exercising. Essentially, if it involves a ball, you can count me in. I also lead a small group at church with my wife and volunteer on the worship team.
