About me
My name is Michael Branchaud and am Master's level Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I counsel by TeleHealth employing HIPAA compliant email and a HIPAA compliant video platform for sessions. Clients can remain in their own homes or other safe secluded areas for their counseling session. I work with adult men or women (18+) who are experiencing emotional distress in their lives. My license covers all who are within the Minnesota border during the counseling session.
I have been helping clients identify unhealthy coping strategies that result in either anxiety, depressed mood or both for the past 30 years. Began my practice working as a Primary Counselor in an Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center, then became LPC licensed (2010) and LPCC (2015). My counseling modality is Biblically based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness. Using these therapy types helps clients learn healthy coping strategies to achieve his or her personal goals.
